Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our casual dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and managing a dynamic team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests while maintaining high standards of food quality and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and budgeting.
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Oversee staff training and development to ensure all team members are knowledgeable about menu offerings and service standards.
  • Implement effective strategies to increase sales and improve overall restaurant performance.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
  • Utilize POS systems for tracking sales, managing inventory, and processing transactions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the casual dining sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the food industry, including menu planning, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration.
  • Proficient in using POS systems for operational management.
  • Strong budgeting skills with experience in financial reporting and cost control measures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
