Duties
- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, and budgeting.
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Oversee staff training and development to ensure all team members are knowledgeable about menu offerings and service standards.
- Implement effective strategies to increase sales and improve overall restaurant performance.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
- Utilize POS systems for tracking sales, managing inventory, and processing transactions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the casual dining sector.
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, including menu planning, kitchen operations, and food safety practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration.
- Proficient in using POS systems for operational management.
- Strong budgeting skills with experience in financial reporting and cost control measures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
