Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tables in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems, food safety, and fine dining service is preferred. This role offers an opportunity to showcase hospitality expertise while ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service and excellent communication.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including bussing and sanitation duties
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures in food handling and preparation
- Assist with host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and sales upselling purposes
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences
