Location: Remote: PST preferred

Contract on T4

Part time: 7 hours a day. total 28 hours a week

Duration: 18 months

Role Summary

The Agile Project Manager / Agile Coach will support Microsoft's AI division by leading Agile transformation efforts, improving delivery processes, and enabling high-impact internal employee experience programs. This role requires hands-on expertise in
Azure DevOps
,
Agile methodology
,
data visualization
, and
cross-functional collaboration
. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and coach who can guide teams, implement scalable frameworks, and strengthen organizational agility.

Typical Day in the Role

  • Guide delivery teams on Agile practices and support adoption of Agile frameworks.
  • Work daily in
    Azure DevOps
    to create and manage work items, dashboards, queries, and reporting structures.
  • Plan and execute onboarding, intern engagement, AI Academy programs, and internal business events.
  • Manage logistics, run-of-show documents, and stakeholder coordination for employee engagement programs.
  • Build dashboards and reporting using
    Power BI
    and
    ADO
    to track team performance and Agile metrics.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily standups.
  • Create and maintain documentation, process guides, and training material.
  • Coach multiple teams to improve Agile maturity and delivery predictability.
  • Respond to escalations and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Track program success through data insights, sentiment metrics, and participation results.
  • Build scalable story-pointing frameworks and estimation models across teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile transformation initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Measure effectiveness of Agile frameworks and recommend improvements.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, burndown charts, velocity tracking, and visual delivery metrics.
  • Deliver DevOps automation and workflow solutions.
  • Provide coaching and enablement on Azure DevOps and Agile best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder groups including HR, Comms, Business Operations, and Engineering.
  • Deliver project status reports, schedules, and executive-level presentations.
  • Support operational planning, resource management, and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of relevant project/program management experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with
    Azure DevOps (ADO)
    .
  • 4+ years of
    Agile methodology
    experience (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Proven experience coaching multiple Agile teams.
  • Strong data visualization and dashboard development (Power BI, Excel, ADO analytics).
  • Experience with SharePoint site design and content architecture.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications:
    PMP, PMI-ACP, Prosci
    , or Agile certifications.
  • Experience working within
    Microsoft
    (FTE or vendor).
  • Power Platform knowledge (Power BI, Power Automate).
  • Experience integrating Azure DevOps with Microsoft products (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint).
  • Learning & Development program support experience (onboarding, academy programs).
