About BitBloom Inc.
BitBloom Inc. is a technology company building a modern marketplace platform in the nightlife and entertainment space. We focus on secure, data-driven booking experiences that connect multiple stakeholders through a curated, structured environment.
We are in active development and looking for a full-stack engineering intern who is currently in school and wants real-world startup experience supporting our CTO across the stack.
Who We Are Looking For
Non-negotiable requirements:
- You are currently enrolled in a university or college program (Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field).
- You need or want internship experience (for course credit, graduation requirements, or to build a serious portfolio).
Responsibilities
- Support the CTO with full-stack development tasks, including:
- Front-end work: components, pages, forms, basic state management
- Back-end work: API endpoints, basic database interactions, integrations
- Assist with technical research and summarize findings (libraries, tools, best practices) to help inform product decisions
- Help with API integrations (authentication, payments, notifications, identity verification, and related services)
- Participate in testing and QA, including logging bugs and edge cases in an organized way
- Help maintain and improve technical documentation (READMEs, simple specs, internal notes, Notion pages)
- Join weekly or regular check-ins with founders to review priorities, blockers, and next steps
Required Skills and Profile
- Currently a university or college student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Intentional focus on becoming a full-stack engineer
- Comfortable with both front-end and back-end fundamentals
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (such as React or ), or
- A back-end framework such as or Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask)
- Familiar with Git and GitHub for version control
- Able to read documentation, research solutions, and present options clearly
- Clear written communication skills and openness to feedback
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP requests
- Any exposure to payments, Stripe, or marketplace-style applications
- Experience on a project where you worked on both the user interface and the back-end or API layer
- Interest in marketplaces, data-driven products, or the broader nightlife/entertainment ecosystem
