Job Summary As the Warehouse Worker, you will operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Worker to operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. This role is on-site in Greensboro, NC and will be a 6 month full-time , contract with extensions. This is first shift opening.

What You'll Do

Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

Wrap and band skids to secure loads for transport

Assist with loading and unloading trucks

Prepare and stage shipments according to shipping schedules.

Learn and perform additional tasks to support day-to-day warehouse functions

What You'll Need

Required:
HS diploma or GED required

Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment

Basic computer skills

Good communication skills

Available to work overtime to support production goals as needed

Must be proficient and able to understand written instructions in English language

Physical Demands

Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands for fine motor tasks such as handling or feeling objects, reach with arms and hands, and communicate effectively through speech and hearing

The role also requires the ability to handle small components under a microscope for prolonged durations

Regular physical demands include lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Safety shoes are required

$17.18 per hour
