We are currently looking for a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our Springfield, Illinois plant. This position will lead the Food Safety charge as we complete a large-scale expansion and position ourselves for substantial growth

Essential Duties:

Job Requirements

• High school or equivalent degree required; a 4 year bachelor's degree is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a quality assurance management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry. Experience may be used as a substitute for education
• Complete understanding of Food Safety Guidelines/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe practices and procedures
• Understanding of HACCP Plans
• Understanding of government regulations (FDA, USDA)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks
