Responsibilities

• Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing efficiently and safely
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling
• Perform specialized cleaning tasks such as dry cleaning or stain removal when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment sanitation and organization of supplies
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or damage during laundry processes
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to fulfill linen and garment requests promptly and accurately
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Strong understanding of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain treatment
• Ability to operate commercial laundry machines safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and familiarity with dry cleaning methods is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens meet quality standards before distribution
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with precision
