General Manager

General Manager / Operations Manager — Retail Full-Time On-Site | Queens N.Y.

We're seeking a hands-on, data-driven retail leader to elevate store performance, build strong teams, and drive consistent sales growth.

This role is ideal for someone with multi-unit or high-volume retail experience in pharmacy, cannabis, grocery, boutique, or quick-service settings — not warehouse or commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily retail operations with an emphasis on customer experience and efficiency.
• Build and refine SOPs that support scalable, repeatable store success.
• Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks to improve team productivity.
• Use sales dashboards and trends to drive 10%+ quarterly sales growth.
• Forecast inventory needs, manage SKUs, and adjust product mix to meet demand.
• Negotiate pricing and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
• Implement and track promotions, loyalty programs, and community initiatives.
• Partner with local businesses to strengthen community visibility and brand trust.
• Coach staff on performance standards, provide ongoing training, and build accountability.
• Present weekly KPI snapshots to ownership, including sales, margin, and customer metrics.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years in retail, hospitality, pharmacy, cannabis, or regulated retail management.
• Proven record of improving KPI performance and team productivity.
• Experienced with vendor relations, POS systems, and inventory forecasting.
• CRM knowledge preferred (HubSpot, Salesforce, Alpine, or Dutchie).
• Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Schedule & Pay

Full-time, on-site, including some nights/weekends.
