Mercato Partners Overview
Mercato Partners is a growth-equity firm investing in capital-efficient technology companies across vertical SaaS, healthcare technology, and applied AI. Founded in 2007, the firm partners with exceptional founders in undercapitalized U.S. innovation regions—especially the Mountain West and Midwest—and has produced top-decile performance across four prior funds. Fund V continues this disciplined strategy with expanded institutional infrastructure, AI-enabled workflows, and a four-person Investment Committee.

Analysts contribute to thematic research, financial modeling, commercial diligence, AI-enabled analysis, and portfolio monitoring. This is a high-ownership, high-expectation role suited for someone who is analytically rigorous, intellectually curious, and energized by partnering with entrepreneurial leaders.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with founders, executives, LPs, and board members.
· Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) AI-enabled research, diligence tools, and modern workflow systems.
· High integrity, intellectual humility, and an ownership mindset.
