Lead Carpenter – Residential Construction

Location: Oak Harbor, WA

Metz Developments LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter for high-quality custom residential remodels and new construction. We are a ground-to-roof custom home builder performing detailed, precision work. This role requires professionalism, reliability, and excellence in execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead residential carpentry from framing through finish
• Read and interpret plans and construction documents
• Maintain high workmanship and jobsite standards
• Communicate clearly with management, crew, and clients
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Complete work efficiently and to code

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years residential construction experience
• Experience with remodels and new construction
• Strong framing and general carpentry skills
• Must provide own basic carpentry and framing tools (tool bags, hammer, squares, tape, drills/impacts, standard hand tools)
• Must have a reliable, operating vehicle for commuting to job sites
• Valid driver's license
• Professional attitude, punctuality, and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead tasks
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in typical construction environments
