Experienced Veterinary Technician

Anna Veterinary Clinic is hiring a full-time experienced Veterinary Technician. We are a 3 doctor, privately owned practice that provides outstanding medical, dental, surgical, and urgent care services for small animals, including exotics.

As a Veterinary Technician at Anna Veterinary Clinic, you will work directly with our practice owner DVM, alongside their Lead Technician to provide excellent patient care.

Desired Skills Including, but are not limited to:

· Excellent Customer Service and Client Communication Skills

· Animal Restraint

· Venipuncture

· Catheter Placement

· Radiology

· Anesthetic Monitoring

· Induction

· Surgical Prep

· Anesthesia and Surgical Assisting Knowledge for a variety of procedures

· Preventative Care Knowledge

· Knowledge of Small Animal diseases, supplemental, dietary care, and husbandry

· Vaccination Schedules

· Assist in patient examinations from wellness, urgent care, and emergencies.

· Hospitalized patient care

· Pharmacy

· Laboratory and Diagnostics including but not limited to, running CBC, Chemistries, Urinalysis and Sedimentations, Fecal Flotations, and more

· Work in a fast-paced environment

· Self-Motivated

· Be able to multitask

· Be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Work in a team environment and help in all areas of the hospital.

Experience is a MUST, with 3 or more years highly favorable. LVT/RVT is preferred but not required. Veterinary Technician students and recent graduates are welcome to apply. Willing to train but a strong foundation is key.
