Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Follow all health and safety protocols while handling food products.
• Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
• Support catering events or special dietary department needs when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with fine dining standards is a plus.
• A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn new skills within the food industry.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
