Bartender

Summary

We are seeking an energetic, personable, and skilled Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional guest service, and contributing to a lively and welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to restaurant guests according to recipes and standards.
• Create signature cocktails and recommend drink pairings to enhance the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Monitor guest intoxication levels and handle situations with professionalism.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with ordering as needed.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and help train new bar staff when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Certification in Responsible Beverage Service (where required by law).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (kegs, boxes, and bar supplies).
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, pour drinks, and operate bar equipment.
