Job Description - Database Developer / SQL Developer

Location : Agoura Hills , CA ( Onsite 5Days )

We are looking for a skilled
Database Developer
with hands-on experience in
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
and
SQL Server
to design, develop, and maintain reliable data integration and database solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and application teams to build efficient ETL pipelines and optimize SQL Server databases for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain
  SQL Server databases
  , tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Build and manage
  data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory
  .
• Develop and optimize
  ETL/ELT processes
  for loading data from multiple sources.
• Write complex
  T-SQL queries
  for data transformation and reporting.
• Monitor and troubleshoot
  ADF pipelines
  , ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Perform
  SQL Server performance tuning
  , including query optimization and indexing.
• Implement
  data validation, error handling, and logging
  mechanisms.
• Collaborate with data architects and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Support
  data migration
  and integration efforts (on-premises to Azure).
• Maintain technical documentation for database objects and data flows.
• Follow
  data security and governance
  best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a
  Database Developer
  or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with
  Azure Data Factory
  .
• Strong proficiency in
  SQL Server
  and
  T-SQL
  .
• Experience with
  ETL/ELT concepts
  and data warehousing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of
  SQL Server performance tuning
  techniques.
• Experience working with
  relational data models
  .
• Familiarity with
  Azure SQL Database
  or
  SQL Managed Instance
  .
• Understanding of
  data security and access controls
  .
