Dental Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a full time Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support the dental team in delivering excellent dental services. We are a small general private practice with cutting edge equipment and technology. We are a fully digital office and we provide high quality dentistry.

Responsibilities:

Must be comfortable with all aspects of general dentistry.

• Assist the doctor and or the hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
• Take dental x-rays and digital scans

-make temp crowns, in office whitening, assisting with root canals and extractions, invisalign, scanning, implant surgeries
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records (Medical documentation)
- Manage and organize patient medical records (Dental assisting)
- Ensure appropriate infection control protocols are followed (Infection control)
- Welcome patients to the dental office and answer their questions (Dental receptionist)

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in general dentistry, must have dental assisting certification.
• Understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures (Anatomy knowledge)

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 2 years (Required)
