About the Role

Gentis Solutions is seeking a
Shipping & Logistics Specialist
for a client in the Cincinnati area. This role is responsible for day-to-day
domestic and international shipping operations
, accurate preparation of shipping documentation, and safe handling of materials in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with shipping/receiving, is
forklift certified
, and is comfortable balancing multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail and safety.

What You'll Do (Job Description)

• Perform daily
  domestic and international shipping and logistics
  activities.
• Operate a
  forklift and pallet jack
  to move, stage, and load materials safely.
• Prepare and verify
  shipping documentation
  , including packing slips, bills of lading, labels, and certifications (as applicable).
• Organize outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, proper labeling, and on-time departure.
• Use organizational systems to track shipments, inventory movements, and documentation.
• Multitask and prioritize
  workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams (production, inventory, customer service, etc.) to resolve shipping or documentation issues.
• Perform frequent bending, lifting, and manual handling of materials (up to 40 lbs).

Requirements (Must Haves)

• Experience in
  domestic and international shipping, logistics, or a related field

  to preserve product quality.
