Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, equipment, or passengers to designated locations.
• Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or pickups while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption for record-keeping purposes.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo or passengers as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or team members regarding schedules or delivery updates.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a secure working environment.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained to uphold professional appearance and operational efficiency.

Skills

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating various types of vehicles such as vans, trucks, or passenger cars.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best driving practices.
• Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps or use GPS technology efficiently.
• Good physical stamina for loading/unloading cargo and long periods of driving.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations professionally.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting.
