Summary

We are seeking a Circulating Nurse (RN) to support our surgical team by ensuring optimal patient care and maintaining a sterile and safe operating environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in perioperative nursing and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in patient records.
• Ensure all necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment are available and functioning properly.
• Assist the surgical team by maintaining a sterile field and adhering to infection control protocols.
• Monitor and document patient status intraoperatively.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure smooth case flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
• Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and acute care nursing practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
