Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert assessment and therapy services to patients with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, in various clinical settings. The Speech-Language Pathologist will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life through effective communication interventions and early intervention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide speech therapy services across a range of conditions, including articulation, fluency, voice disorders, and language delays.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and therapy exercises.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist from an accredited program.
  • Previous school experience or pediatric experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to communication disorders.
  • Experience with patient care, including early intervention programs.
  • Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to apply evidence-based practices within clinical settings.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and maintaining licensure requirements. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $ $54.20 per hour
