Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Jetski Company Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service at our waterfront location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience, and a passion for water sports. This role involves coordinating sales, inventory, and staff training while maintaining a safe and engaging environment for customers. The Jetski Company Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily operations of the Jetski rental and sales business, ensuring smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage staff scheduling, shift management, and team management to optimize productivity.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stocking, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Handle customer service interactions, including addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert guidance on Jetski rentals and sales.
  • Conduct employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Manage POS systems, cash handling, cashiering duties, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote services and increase sales; oversee store merchandising efforts.
  • Coordinate with vendors for purchasing supplies and equipment; manage budgeting and financial recordkeeping such as bookkeeping and payroll processing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections; enforce safety protocols among staff and customers.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with customers, staff, vendors, and management effectively.
  • Assist in recruiting efforts through interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees; foster a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience in retail or water sports rental environments; supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in inventory management, bookkeeping, payroll, POS systems, and retail math.
  • Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales management, marketing, merchandising, and shift management.
  • Ability to handle cash handling duties accurately while maintaining professionalism with phone etiquette and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes, purchasing procedures, inventory control, pricing strategies, and retail sales techniques.
  • Familiarity with wireless sales or related water sports equipment is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
