Design Communications Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Design Communication Coordinator serves as the primary liaison for the Design team by managing and responding to tagged inquiries within our CRM system. This role ensures the timely, accurate, and professional communication around design-related requests, clarifications, and updates.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Inbound Support: The coordinator will track tag resolution, escalate complex issues when needed, and maintain a clear record of interactions to support workflow transparency and team efficiency.
• Project Coordination: Support Design project management tasks such as updating CRM systems, tracking project milestones, and ensuring timely communication between teams.
• Internal Liaison: Act as a bridge between the Design team and other departments, including but not limited to Permitting, Sales, Installation, etc., and facilitate seamless project progress
• Status Updates: Provide regular status updates on project status, next steps, and any issues that may impact timelines.
• Process Improvement: Identify recurring issues and collaborate with leadership to streamline support and project workflows

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in solar sales or operations is required
• 2-3+ years of experience in solar sales or operations is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of Project Management is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service Experience is preferred
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software
• Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset are essential

COMPENSATION:

• The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $17.00-$24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's location, relevant skills, experience, education, and internal equity. The company is committed to complying with all applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage and salary laws, and compensation will meet or exceed the minimum requirements based on the employee's work location.
