Commercial Construction Project Manager

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to develop detailed project plans and specifications
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, for project scheduling, cost estimating, and resource allocation
• Oversee procurement processes including contracts negotiation and management of subcontractor agreements
• Monitor daily construction site activities to ensure safety standards are maintained and work progresses according to schematics and blueprints
• Conduct regular site inspections, review blueprints and schematics for accuracy, and resolve any technical or logistical issues promptly
• Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), progress reports, and safety records
• Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools to ensure timely completion of all phases
• Facilitate effective communication among all to promote transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction estimating tools and techniques for accurate budgeting and cost control
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, and other relevant platforms
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts management, and construction site safety protocols
• Proven ability in project scheduling and time management to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Excellent project coordination skills with a focus on collaboration among diverse teams
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics with precision for effective execution on-site
• Exceptional communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $100, $120,000.00 per year
