Verta Hotels is preparing for an exciting transition to Delta Hotels by Marriott – McAllen Airport, a 150-room full-service property featuring a restaurant, bar, banquet and meeting space, and robust food & beverage operations. We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeepers (Room Attendants) to join our team and help us deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Position Summary

The Hotel Housekeeper (Room Attendant) plays a key role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms daily, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
• Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities according to hotel standards.
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and water.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, public areas, and service areas.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests when encountered.

Qualifications

Required

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Dependable and team-oriented.

Preferred

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience (hotel or residential).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills, a plus in the McAllen market.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts
• Day shifts (typically 8:00am – 5:30pm)
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Pay

Starting at $12.00 per hour and up (commensurate with experience)
