Moving Truck Driver

Excel Moving & Storage is looking for qualified local drivers in Raleigh, NC.    

Responsibilities are as follows:

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to transport goods to various locations
• Pack, Load and unload household goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain accurate records of move paperwork
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate department
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

Workdays:

• Monday to Friday - 8-hour day shifts
• Weekends as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate a box truck or tractor-trailer
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if required
• Other duties as assigned
