Dental Assistant

Overview:

Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic and rewarding environment. We are seeking a skilled individual with experience in dental assisting to support our practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare patients for dental work
• Take and develop X-rays
• Manage patient records and documentation
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Skills:

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience with medical coding and billing processes
- Ability to perform dental assisting duties including X-rays, medical imaging, and aseptic techniques

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Epic software for healthcare management
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist
- Understanding of aseptic technique in a dental setting

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• SPANISH (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Required)
• Coronal Polish Certificate (Preferred)
• DRIVER LICENSE (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Pacoima, CA Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Pacoima, CA 91331: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
