We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained across all dining services, including fine dining, catering, and banquet events. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in menu planning, inventory control, and maintaining a vibrant and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
- Lead the entire culinary team, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
- Oversee menu development, ensuring offerings align with current food trends and customer preferences.
- Supervise food preparation, presentation, and service to uphold high standards of quality and consistency.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain rigorous sanitation standards.
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail in execution.
- Train staff on culinary techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with management on strategic initiatives to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining, banquet, or catering environments with strong leadership skills.
- Supervising experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Extensive culinary background with expertise in food production, food handling, and kitchen management.
- Knowledge of inventory management, menu planning, and food safety standards.
- Strong background in restaurant management, including shift management and food service operations.
- Experience with culinary techniques, food presentation, and catering event coordination.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with the food industry trends, hospitality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Additional skills such as bartending, serving, or experience in the dietary department are considered advantageous but not mandatory.
