Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluates the impact of emerging technology and business trends.
- Drives innovation by prioritizing opportunities based on significant business impact.
- Delivers impactful roadmaps that defineify strategy and improve integration between infrastructure, applications, data and processes.
- Lead enterprise critical innovation projects that require extensive knowledge of advanced techniques in multiple technical disciplines.
- Creates and maintains high complexity logical and physical data and/or system models.
- Transforms business requirements into technical architecture requirements, and designs architectures which are scalable, robust, and manageable.
- Provides technical guidance or business process expertise, technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Determines the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support and meet company business goals.
- Evaluates existing IT systems for exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security, or efficiency.
- Leads the Technical Review Board and facilitates development of standards, information technology vision, and make recommendations on technology decisions.
You Must Have
· Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or Physical Science.
· 10 or more years of relevant experience while demonstrating an increasing progression of responsibilities including demonstrated work in enterprise architecture, and team leadership.
· United States Citizenship.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
· Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
· Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
We Value
· Master's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
· Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
· Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Microsoft Azure).
· Knowledge of enterprise networking, security, and identity management.
· Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools (e.g. Terraform, Morpheus).
· Experience designing solutions in multi-cloud or hybrid enterprise environments.
· Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise service management frameworks.
· Proven ability to determine and influence technology and business strategy.
· Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to enterprise IT.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership.
