Position Summary

The sanitation team member is responsible for working collaboratively in a team environment to efficiently clean and sanitize the plant and food processing equipment between the plant's normal production shifts. This role is critical to maintaining food safety and ensuring compliance with all sanitation and safety standards.

What You'll Do:

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment.
• Quickly and efficiently clean and sanitize food processing equipment and production areas ensuring that the equipment is ready for the next production shift.
• Safely handle and utilize various cleaning chemicals as part of the sanitation process.
• Perform tasks in environments that are wet, humid, and subject to temperature changes ranging from hot to cold.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work as a team along with other members of the crew and be flexible and willing to perform varying tasks per the supervisor's instructions.

What You'll Bring:

• Previous manufacturing / sanitation experience preferred.
• Attention to detail
• Drive to succeed.
• Safety minded, including the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and work in a drug-free environment.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move processing equipment
• Understanding of basic math skills
