Event Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their event experience.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, ensuring correct transactions and proper change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety throughout the event.
• Collaborate with event staff to coordinate beverage service during high-volume periods like banquets or nightclub events.
• Restock bar supplies promptly and assist in setup or breakdown of bar stations as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy events while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures.
• Experience in catering or large-scale events is a plus; knowledge of beverage preparation including brewing is advantageous.
