Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with hiring managers to execute full-cycle recruiting, including posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and managing pre-employment processes.

  • Lead onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition and positive first-day experience.

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and leaders regarding HR-related inquiries, policy interpretation, and employee relations concerns.

  • Support administration of HR processes including benefits, compensation, performance reviews, attendance tracking, and leave management.

  • Maintain employee records in ADP and Workday with a high level of accuracy, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company and legal requirements.

  • Assist in the implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives to support business objectives and a positive workplace culture.

  • Partner with leadership to identify talent needs, retention strategies, and development opportunities to strengthen workforce capability.

  • Conduct and assist in investigations related to employee relations issues in partnership with HR leadership.

  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and ensure adherence to company policies and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).

  • Provide HR reporting and analytics to management to support workforce planning and decision-making.

  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment. Experience supporting unionized facilities strongly preferred.

  • Systems: Advanced working knowledge of ADP and Workday HRIS required.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and HR administrative processes.

  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
