Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining safety standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with CNC machines, fabrication tools, and blueprint reading is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to the production of precision components in a dynamic facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor a range of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses.
- Set up machines according to specifications, utilizing CAD drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards.
- Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment using CAM programming and CNC programming knowledge.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibration of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for fabrication and assembly processes.
- Assist in fabrication, assembly line tasks, tooling setup, welding, and packaging as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document production data accurately for quality assurance purposes.
Experience
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with machining or fabrication equipment preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software like SolidWorks, and CAM programming is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and related tooling.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, mechanical principles, and quality control methods.
- Experience operating hand tools, calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, forklifts, and other warehouse or factory equipment.
- Prior work involving assembly lines, materials handling, fabrication processes including welding is a plus. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong mechanical knowledge and manufacturing skills who can operate complex machinery while maintaining safety standards and quality output in a professional environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $25.27 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
