Responsibilities

• Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks with precision and efficiency
• Assist with vehicle repairs including brake work, alignment adjustments, and mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools
• Support the team in tire service operations, including mounting, balancing, and replacing tires
• Execute vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and document findings thoroughly
• Help with vehicle maintenance tasks like engine tune-ups, battery replacements, and light mechanical repairs
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling parts or equipment to maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
• Support sales efforts by recommending additional services or maintenance plans to customers when appropriate

Qualifications

• Prior experience or automotive service background preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is highly valued
• Hands-on mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general repairs
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the automotive service field
