Box Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to handle a variety of driving tasks including route driving and manual transmission operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of products, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, performing routine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Follow established routes while being flexible to adapt to changes in delivery schedules or routes as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at delivery sites.
• Assist with warehouse duties as required, including moving products within the facility.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating various geographic areas.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks related to moving goods.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus.
• Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to all safety protocols while on the job.
