Electronics Technician

Duties

• Perform field service tasks including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment across various locations.
• Use hand tools and specialized testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to identify faults and implement solutions effectively.
• Conduct maintenance on computer hardware components, ensuring systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
• Repair and replace low voltage electronic components, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
• Support computer networking setups, configurations, and troubleshooting to maintain seamless connectivity.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment assembly, adjustments, and preventative maintenance routines.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electronics or related field service roles.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with working on computer hardware systems and understanding of computer networking principles.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude combined with knowledge of low voltage electrical systems.
• Previous experience working with hand tools in technical repair environments is highly desirable.
