Barback and Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Barback and Bartender to join our lively hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant nightclub environment, providing exceptional customer service while supporting bar operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, hospitality experience, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Previous experience in food and beverage service, including POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, is highly desirable. This position is perfect for individuals with a background in food industry settings, hotel service, catering, or restaurant environments who thrive in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly
• Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth bar operations
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces
• Support food preparation tasks such as light food handling and basic catering duties when needed
• Buss tables and clear empty glasses to maintain a tidy environment
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service
• Assist with event setups such as banquets or private parties when required
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
• Experience working in nightclubs, banquet settings, or catering services is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Background in food preparation, bussing, serving, or barista experience is beneficial
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation are essential
• Experience with food handling, cashiering, or working in hotel or food industry settings will be highly valued
