We have an exciting opening for a Warehouse Worker at our facility in Washington, D.C. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, involving a range of duties to support the handling and storage of goods. Key responsibilities include receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, accurately placing items into storage, fulfilling orders by picking items from designated locations, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse is a primary focus. This job requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting, standing, and moving throughout the warehouse. Strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandated use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes and gloves, is crucial. We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented, possess a strong sense of responsibility, and can adapt to the demands of a dynamic logistics environment. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Sort, store, and retrieve warehouse stock.
- Pick items for orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Receive and unload shipments.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
