Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to order sheets or RF scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for any damages or defects before packing.
- Efficiently pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for shipment, ensuring correct routing.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and tape guns.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse setting is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately pick and pack items efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent lifting of up to 45 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Willingness to comply with all safety rules and wear designated PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
