You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring that our stock levels are precise and up-to-date. Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by tracing products and analyzing transaction history.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage and errors.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points, and generate reports for management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Conduct audits of inventory storage areas to ensure proper organization, labeling, and condition of goods.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and production teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements for inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper handling of materials and use of PPE.
- Support physical inventory counts as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and supply chain management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
