Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker in historic Boston, Massachusetts. This role is foundational to our logistics and distribution efforts, involving the efficient handling of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other inventory-related tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals within our logistics framework.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics concepts.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
