You will be tasked with locating items within the warehouse, picking them with precision, and then packaging them securely for shipping. We maintain a rigorous safety culture, mandating the consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all warehouse activities. Responsibilities:
- Identify and retrieve specified items from warehouse locations according to pick lists.
- Verify product details (SKU, quantity) to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials, ensuring protection during transit.
- Label all packages accurately and prepare them for shipping carriers.
- Maintain the tidiness and organization of your workstation.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support inventory management through participation in cycle counts.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Ensure proper handling and care of products throughout the picking and packing process.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues with equipment to supervisors.
- Undertake additional warehouse tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is highly desirable.
- Capacity to perform tasks involving regular lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Awareness of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable with prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is a plus.
