Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for an opportunity in Miami, Florida? Our warehouse is seeking a Picker/Packer to join our fulfillment team. This role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, accurately picking them, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position is key to our logistics process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. A commitment to workplace safety , including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ), is a fundamental requirement of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order forms or scanner data.
- Verify product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks and other hand-held equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
- Wear and care for all designated PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret order slips and product labels.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Understanding of safety practices in a warehouse environment.
- Willingness to use required PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
