We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily operations at our Baltimore, Maryland facility. This key position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate various warehouse functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. You will be instrumental in managing inventory, optimizing workflows, and supervising warehouse staff, playing a vital role in our logistics chain.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics flow.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Manage shipping and receiving schedules.
- This role requires physical mobility and the ability to assist with tasks as needed.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs may be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and control techniques.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of supply chain and logistics principles.
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Must be available for flexible scheduling.
