Join our vibrant team as a Distribution Center Associate in sunny Miami, Florida! We are looking for energetic individuals to support the daily operations of our state-of-the-art distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that products are handled with care and efficiency from receipt to shipment. You will be involved in a variety of operational tasks, contributing to a seamless supply chain. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your contributions are valued.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise for distribution.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, following all safety guidelines.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform quality checks on products and packaging.
- Follow all procedures for order picking and packing.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for long shifts.
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting, up to 45 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Knowledge of logistics principles is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
