We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our distribution center, ensuring the efficient flow of goods. This role is crucial to our operations, supporting the overall supply chain process. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the timely and accurate handling of inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Store merchandise in designated areas, maintaining an organized warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and company standards.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
- This role requires significant physical exertion, including frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
