Seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our busy logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, verifying quantities, and packing them for shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Come be a part of our growing distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from various locations within the warehouse using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, using correct materials.
- Prepare orders for shipment, applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other manual equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways and reducing tripping hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Practice safe lifting techniques when handling products of varying weights and sizes.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and operational efficiency in the logistics department.
- Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Be prepared for physical demands, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Understand the importance of precision and speed in fulfilling orders to meet customer expectations.
- Help maintain a safe and productive warehouse environment through diligent work and adherence to safety standards.
