This role is fundamental to our logistics process, involving tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing goods for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials efficiently.
- Pick and fill orders with accuracy and speed.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided), safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times, including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Follow safe lifting practices to prevent injury.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily operational goals.
- Understand and implement company policies related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse best practices.
- Be prepared for physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ensure all tasks are completed with a focus on quality and efficiency to support overall logistics success.
