As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse efficiently, utilizing RF scanners and other tools to locate and retrieve specified items. Your precision and speed directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. This role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of each order picked. We provide comprehensive training, including safe lifting techniques and equipment operation. This is a physically demanding position that involves significant walking, standing, and lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or scanner information.
- Verify product information and quantities for accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for transport.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Meet or exceed individual and team productivity targets.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Understanding of logistics and safety practices, including PPE usage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management skills.
