Houston, Texas - We are seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Associates to join our bustling distribution center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our logistics hub, performing a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role requires physical capability, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding our high standards for safety and efficiency. You will work collaboratively with a team to ensure that orders are processed accurately and that our warehouse remains a safe and organized place. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Store products in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
- Pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse environment, including aisles and work areas.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Be prepared for and capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of general warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
