Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Pre‑Construction team to lead the design and delivery of major projects within the Southern Region.
Engage with KB teams and suppliers to challenge designers, providing value engineering solutions to deliver best value whilst ensuring buildability is considered at all stages.
Deliver complex multidisciplinary design and build projects, managing delivery risk and commercial requirements.
Qualifications
A civil engineering background with a degree, chartered or working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Site experience or design consultancy background with similar level of experience.
Clear understanding of the commercial requirements of delivering complex multidisciplinary design and build projects and an appreciation of delivery risk.
A full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable experience of undertaking feasibility studies, options appraisal and concept design, and/or outline and detailed design for clients and design and build contractors.
