About St Peter’s
St Peter’s Catholic School, part of the Xavier Catholic Education Trust, is an extremely successful school and Sixth Form set in attractive grounds on the outskirts of Guildford, with onsite parking.

About the Design Technology Department
We currently teach Textiles, Product Design, Food & Nutrition (which has its own dedicated technician) and Architecture.
We have a wide range of up-to-date, well‑maintained equipment with six subject‑specific teaching rooms.
As a team we are friendly, hardworking, positive and passionate about our subject.
We work hard to develop exciting projects that capture imaginations and make learning fun.
We share ideas and resources and work in a highly effective and collaborative way.
About You
We're looking for a dynamic technician with knowledge of wood and metalworking machinery and techniques.
Successful applicants will ideally have budgeting and basic IT skills.
We particularly value individuals willing to embrace new technologies such as CNC equipment.
A technician who thrives working with young people and puts them at the heart of everything they do.
